Myspace, Bebo or Facebook....?

Which is better and why?

Im gettin well confused...
I have now succumbed to joing facebook, much to my annoyance.
Well im not annoyed, so much as confused!

First there was Myspace, then bebo and now facebook...
Well tht was the order i joined them in.

Why do people go through phases with them tho?
Everyone was on Myspace and loved it, then exactly the same with Bebo and now the same will happen with Facebook...and enivitably there will be another site exactly like it will come along!

But, in principle, arent they all the same! Whats the point of having all three. I mean im not complaining because as i said i do have all three, and will no doubt join another one as soon as it comes along. Its just the only way to communicate with people is to join the site they like best just to talk with them, but with everyone chopping and changing their minds, its hard to remember which site everyone likes and uses...

Im still an avid myspazz user, i still quite like it, but it seems that no1 else does. Whats the point of keeping it going wen theres no1 else on it to talk to...

The debate continues or is everybody else just fed up with it all...?

Facebook is definitely the better of those big three. I guess it just depends on what you are after really. If you want to make friends with prepubescent kids dressed in tight jeans and who all look identical in their black and white 3/4 pose photographs who send stupid bulletins about what clothes they should wear while writing MySpace blog entries and who have 5000 friends who they've never actually met before, then go for MySpace.

If you want a more mature experience then go for Facebook. It's growing very quickly and is much more useful with tonnes and tonnes of people building mini applications that you can actually install onto your page. Believe me, once you get to grips with Facebook it is well worth investing your time into it.

If you like companies that fail then use Bebo.

I use Bebo because that's where most of my friends are. Loads of other acquaintances from Dundee are on there as well, I think most people 18-35 in Dundee are on Bebo! I don't use it as much as I did because I got a phone again.

Facebook is mainly a student thing isn't it?

Myspace is decent for music stuff.

I only have two, but I only use Bebo consistently.

Facebook was initially student only but a year back they opened it up for general public. MySpace is good for music but it's hard to find in amongst all the rubbish. Facebook is actually growing quicker in the UK than it is in the States.

Myspace = music
Facebooks = students
Bebo = everyone else

I mean not that i mean to class and stereotype people but thts the way it goes...
Myspace is more for music...loads of new bands/artists are now being discovered because of myspace
Facebook is for those students, the more mature and who people actually want to communicate with friends and the likes
And bebo is just in the middle of it all...

I actually agree with you though. I've been put off facebook because that seems to be the only internet site that kids at college go on.

I've never bothered with facebook so i can't comment. Bebo is the ugliest fucking website i have ever been on in my life. i buckled to peer presure, set one up and delted it after three days. just horrible.

i have a myspace. it's ok i guess. most of friends use myspace.

hahaha too true. i actually do have a bebo but thats about to be deleted, its all kids and people who like to update every single detail of their life on it on an hourly basis. only thing its been decent for is getting me in touch with people i havent seen for a while

This is exactly my problem with it.

But now, even Bebo's doing it too.

Myspace is best for music, and you can pretty much do what you like with it, which I like.

you know you can get rid of all the clutter stuff on Facebook? If you have idiot friends that install every application going, it might look horrible, but for me it's great.
