I'd like to go to a ceilidh or something, perhaps eat some haggis. Actually, that's an idea.

Curiously I was accused of not showing enough Scottish pride the other day because I had no plans. What makes it rather odd is that I'm English, and of all people it was my Mum saying I should have more pride in being Scottish.

On Radio 1 last year or maybe the year before they had this amazing Alternative Burns Night with some outstanding Scottish chat and music and covers of Burns' songs with some really cool people, although I can't remember who.
Anyone know what I'm talking about it? I wish I had a copy of it, it's pretty much the best thing I've heard on the radio. Last edited by johnny? : 22nd January 2008 at 02:22 AM. |
