My username
Ok, I have had the user name freakonaleash since I first joined this board, and incidentally it was also the first board I joined.

It's certainly not the best song in the world, in fact I seldom come across people willing to publicly say they like it.

As soon as I began posting under this name I started to get abuse for the song and Korn-related mud-slinging.

At first it really got to me.
Why the hell were people bothering their arse to complain about a band so vehemently? I only chose it because there was a time when I found the lyrics easy to relate to, but more then that, the video just grabbed my attention.
I bought the T-shirt. I practiced harder on the bass. I went to Download. I started a band.

The name became a way for me for sorting the wheat from the chaff. All these dickheads would come onto a discussion, not to even talk about the subject but to try to hurt me directly and the username was, so they thought, a perfect medium to do so.

The name stayed because I liked being able to find out immediately who was a judgemental fool and who had more intelligence than that.

Even though I never listen to korn anymore, I keep the name. It has served a useful purpose

I am not interested in your views on nu-metal, korn, or your opinion of me because you don't like nu-metal.
It's all irrelevant to me considering I don't listen to the song myself! (However if the video comes on a big smile of nostalgia will sweep across my wee cheeks!)

Here if anyone wants to suggest a new username for me then please do. I have been trying to think of one for what 3 years?

Only genuine suggestions please. A hint of malice and your post will be reported straight away, just don't bother posting and keep that shite to yourself!!!
