I think there were just as many arguments on UGS when Thee Alex was banned, the difference is that they're more entertaining nowadays, and that the majority of people take arguments less seriously on this site.

I have to say I found UGS pretty dull when Alex was banned.

Obviously the site is incredibly useful in terms of bringing attention to the local music scene and that is the real reason I became a member. However, I for one can also validate the entertainment factor as a main attraction, specifically the arguements that reguarly appear. Alex is without a doubt a true 'gladiator' in this area and I think it's important to recognise him (and other UGS members who are in possession of a fully operational brain) as valuable contributors. Perhaps not always in the financial sense but certainly when it comes to providing the 'star attractions'. Having said that there should be some applause for all the retards that post too because they're the reason these keyboard wars exist.

kev, i was in town with ian when he was posting on this, then at the krupskaya gig at night, when he also posted (i think).

people are entitled to their opinion, but its basically been proven that haribowhore isnt me.
