I like the idea of Carbon and the playlists have been pretty interesting so far, but the thought that a photo - or a *video* - of me could end up online, perhaps without me even knowing, makes me feel sure that I'll never go.

I'm sure most people are fine with it but I find the whole thing crazily off-putting. I'm not having a go at Carbon specifically though, just the whole idea of doing this, which seems to be getting increasingly popular.

If anyone sees an image of themselves they do not wish to be online I'll gladly take them down ASAP.

We would also never put anything up that would obviously offend , degrade or is just plainly a hideous photo (unless its of colin, he's fair game).

I'm sorry you feel you can't attend due to this, but if you let me know what you look like i can promise never to post any of you.

ps.. all the pics/vids will go into a closed community too so only other carbon myspace friends can view them and if anyone wants copies of the original high-res ones just drop me a msg.

I suppose one of the reasons it's so popular is that it helps to give a flavour of a night and lets people know what to expect. There is only so much that can be done with flyering and posters and people like me pesterting people to go and generally telling them that it's awesome

Plus, it's a handy way of seeing what happened if you were too drunk to remember

And look at it this way, them vids are so dark you can't hardly see anyone in them

I personally take it as a personal challange to make sure that I wear a different outfit every time since there may now be proof as to what I wore before *lol*

I demand all images of me be destroyed immediately!!! And i want video evidence of it being done!!

I mean hi-res ones of themselves ... you can't have pics of random people you like the look of.

You do know that if you take down pics they don't just leave a big gap? It's not like cutting them out of a page-this is all hi tech n stuff

it does. i just used a stanley knife on my screen and that took it out. now there is a weeping hole i reckon i should fill.
