Stirling Venues

does anyone have any contact details for venues in Stirling, phone numbers etc. Thanks.

They man. Stirling is not the greatest place in the world when it comes to live music venues. We have had a couple in the past, like when the Engine Rooms took up at residency at The Retro Bar. There were some really great bands came through that way and the gigs were regular - very Friday night. We had a bill featuring CapDown and Douglas, and also some of the best bands from around the Stirling area, including Stoma and Dead Or American. This venue no longer exists. However, I casn suggest visiting <a href="http://www.thenextbigthing.uk.com" target="_blank">www.thenextbigthing.uk.com</a> as they have a bi-weekly show running out of a venue Smiths Bar, up on the Springkerse industrial estate. Pretty good venue too. I shall provide more information as it floods back into my brain. Oh, check out the Falkirk Scene too!

Alternatively, you could come and play one of the little shows that we set up in the garage of the university. Not much of a venue, just a garage with drums and PA and a whole lot of drunk-ass people dancing around and screaming. It's usually a pretty fun night. We are looking to get some more going as the whether gets better.
