Stoma need Bass

'Stoma' - Glasgow based Metal band require a new bassist following the news that our pesent bassist is leaving in May.

We are looking for an individual who is going to be dedicated and serious about being in a band, but doesn't do so at the expense of having a good time! Must be up for gigging (e.g travelling down south in May, supporting The Promise + Champion at King Tuts on 19th May) and recording responsibilities aswell as possible cider abuse! Must have gear of a gigging standard, prefferably Glasgow based but not a neccessity.

Influences include Glassjaw, Snot, From Autumn to Ashes, Helmet, Boy Sets Fire, Refused, Converge among many others. Recorded material on request.

just keeping the thread alive, as is the case with batman...tell your friends we need a bass player pronto.

Its a good band to be in, weve played some cool shows and there will be better ones to come.

I sent Team Stoma an e-mail over a week ago about the vacant bassist slot in your band. In case you are wonderning, who this is: I am Ian fae Twenty Inch Kings, the guy with the 3 and half foot dreads, who organised the Dunfermline Metalfest.

I'd be very interested in playing for Stoma and (not being big-headed), feel that I have enough technical ability to fit comformtably into your band. I can also provide quality backing screams. However, I would want to continue with T.I.K. and play in both bands.

hey got ur pm, yeah i amn pretty interested in that murdo and im gonna be movin to glasgow for uni as well so thats a plus. what kinda bands and stuff are uz influenced by?

There's a wee list of influences contained in the original post, but is in no way comprehensive!

I personally am influenced by every piece of music I hear in one way or another. Interesting to hear you have wide range of influences.

I'll PM you, and we'll maybe meet up and have a chat etc.
