New record by Thee Moths
Lifted from a Total Gaylord mailout
"Hey there everyone, The new Thee Moths EP on Total Gaylord Records is out today. And even though that's my label, please believe me when I saw it is awesome. 4 songs, not a dud in the bunch. Since there are so few songs, giving samples is tough, since I don't want to give 1/4 of the record away, and even though I hate snippets, I'm posting one just in case you don't believe me re: this is good. 1 minute sound byte here. http://www.totalgaylordrecords.com/moths_sample.mp3 You can buy this directly from the TGR website or from Cat Scratch Pow Wow. (http://www.totalgaylordrecords.com/ and http://www.hhbtm.com/catscratchpw Also, if you read Italian, there are some nice reviews here (http://polaroid.blogspot.com/ scroll down) and here(http://www.indiepop.it/articoli/singles0904.htm). Or you can use babelfish and marvel at the results." The record IS ace, but then I would say that. |

Wasn't too keen on the first part, too 'folky' for me (I guess?). Was really good once the distortion set in and the other vocals joined in. I'd maybe buy a copy.
p.s. I copied this to playlist, since it's regarding a record release. ![]() Last edited by ~smack. : 30th September 2004 at 10:44 PM. |
