Rhythm Guitarist needed

Metal band looking for a rhythm guitarist. We play in B tuning and have varied influences including Mastodon, Sepultura, Maiden, Metallica, Cradle of Filth, Inflames, Soil.
We have a drummer, bassist, lead guitarist and vox, and practice weekly in Dundee so if you are interested please post here or send me a pm.

ok more info.......
we play our own stuff but recently lost our rhythm guitarist so are happy to start from scratch, working towards gigging asap. we have a mixture of ages in the band so all ages welcome, and have experience in other bands. we practice on a saturday evening in Dundee every week so need someone reliable who is available then, we finish practice at 8pm. i have been playing bass for about 4 years and have musical knowledge from playing the piano (grade 6) so would like to add keyboards chords into our music too. our drummer has gigged before and is shithot with a double bass pedal and our singer does an amazing growl. if you are still interested and are happy to use B tuning then let us know, tell us more about yourself please and we can arrange to meet and jam

yeah i got a guitar jus after chrimbo but i been playing on and off for a few years tho.

by b tuning do you mean

b-f#-b-e-g#-c# aka drop B or

b-e-a-d-f#-b cos i can use either.

it IS the second tuning, not the first drop tuning! b e a d f# b is the tuning we prefer

ok, i prefer to play in D (not dropped D, just D) but B is ok. i've been playing for about3 or four years, had a break from playing recently for a while but really want to play in a band again. i play rythym and some leead too, better at rythym as i played bass for 4 years before picking up a guitar. i have had experience in bands and stuff. influences are mostly thrash, death and melodic stuff love old cheesey rock too, listening to TRIVIUMs new album just now, black label's new album and other bands i like are Lamb of God, Vader, Strapping Young Lad... my e-mail is sparkyjim@hotmail.co.uk i can practise at any rehersal room as i have own transport.

i have almost similar musical background just not as much experience time wise.

been playing bass for 3 years. i play metal, hiphop and soul type stuff on bass and on guitar i play metal but really just on and off for the last 4 years while playing bass. i have basic music theory knowlege and my influences are everything from marvin gaye to cephalic carnage. email me at modulistic_terror@hotmail.com
