Nice shirt, but using selling a t-shirt with a sprite from Manic Miner on it probably isn't a good idea, unless the original creator put it into the public domain.

You're opening yourself to potential legal troubles.

Loads of people have used Speccy imagery and I've redrawn the image anyway. I think it's fine.

Laura, the shirts can be got in really small sizes I believe.

Yeah, but the fact that loads of people have used it doesn't make it any less copyrighted. The fact that you've redrawn it would just make it a derivative work as far as I am aware.

i really don't see the point of old gig posters on T-shirts.

maybe if you were some kind of famous gig poster designer and they were your critically acclaimed masterpieces. but you sure as hell aint.

will be having a look at the new purely T-shirt designs tho.

how many have you sold?

Tell you what, why don't you go and design something, or do something, ANYTHING, creative? Go on, do something good and wow us all. Cos I've yet to see any evidence of you having any skills WHATSOEVER.

I've been surprised that I've sold more than none! Not putting these up as some kind of Super Business Venture.

Much like the Velvet Underground, Alex will sell few t-shirts, but those who he sells t-shirts to will go on to make their own t-shirts, and 30-40 years later Alex's own t-shirts will finally receive mainstream critical acceptance.
