Downloads and Resources Rules and guidelines. Read this first!!

Welcome to the Downloads and Resources section of UGS. If anyone is looking for anything in the regular forums that we have here, please direct them to this forum.

Currently we are not hosting any of these files, as the bandwidth costs would be too much. As it is, there are categorized lists with the name of the software, along with a link to the homepage and download page.

Some guidelines to follow before downloading or using any of the items featured:

UGS takes NO responsibilty for any results which occur after the installation or use of any of the items featured in Downloads and Resources. It is YOUR responsibility to check that your system is compatible. Any help or support required should be directed to the creators of the software and not UGS.
Some of the software featured may contain Adware or Spyware. It is YOUR responsibility to check wether or not the item your are downloading contains any and decide wether you want to download it or not. Ad/Spyware information can be found on the releveant homepage.
The 'Download here' link is not a direct link to the file itself, but a link to the relative download page where you can choose a certain OS type (Windows / Mac etc) or a mirror site. Make sure the version you download is the free version, as some of the download pages feature links to other versions which must be purchased, or have a time limit on usability - "Trial versions". Also make sure you are downloading the latest version / update.
Not all files here will be available for every OS, some are Windows only.
If you require further details of an item, please check the 'Homepage' link. These often have a 'features' or 'FAQ' regarding their product.
Please report any broken or outdated links to me via pm or email.
Likewise if you have any suggestions for items or categories that should be featured then get in touch. Please include the name of the product, category and if possible a link to the relevent website. We are looking for free software only. (Trial versions will be considered).

Obviously this is ongoing and many items are still to be added, especially to the music production / recording section. The layout may also be changed slightly, we'll see how this works out. Post any questions or suggestions in this thread.
