this is a true story about an incident that took place before practise yesterday.
i was eating ice cream after my tea and my mum asked me if i wanted a flake from the ice cream van. i said yes so her and my sister went out to it. my mum came running back in to phone an ambulance for an old lady who lives a few doors along from me, she had slipped down the brae and i think has broken her ankle. i looked out my window and saw the ice cream van driver put his coat over her. i thought this was to see if she suited it or not but apparently it was an attmpt to keep her warm. out of the goodness of my heart i fetched a blanket from my house and ran out with it around my neck like a superhero saying "Mum, she's not well"(an in joke of mine and marco's). i swiftly realised this was neither the time nor the place for that and elected to carry it subtley. well the ambulance came and took her to the ozzy. ive had my run ins with her over the years about football and countless numbers of dealings with the police cos of her but i thought "just let bygons be bygons" |
