in glasgow there is a night at the QMU called style and substance which is basically felt but bigger and with not as nice a DJ lol.
i dunno about the centre of glasgow though,that could be a good place to put it.

i wouldn't even bother mentioning style+substance, it tends to be fucking dead. i don't know why, wednesday and thursday have never been big nights at the qm and the board attempt to rectify this (particuarly thursday night) every year, but it never does really work. this year's thursday night, elbow room, was great but too eclectic for most. i went on the first night and there couldn't have been more than 30 people there.

not that i've ever been, there are some indie nights at the woodside social like national pop league and fireworks. which i think are pretty successful.

The attic in the garage has all that stuff playing and is usually rammed when it's open.

no no no, the attics good for playing NME's band of the moment and stone roses (not that i dislike either of those

) but dave plays less popular music, and there is no comprable night in glasgow they all suck, you should go there

Nah man, that's not been the case any time I've been up in the attic. Haven't been for ages right nough so It could have changed. Hving looked at the thread with a list of the kind of bands played at felt I'd say the attic will play about 75% of them. But hey, there's probably room for felt especially since the attic is just a small part of another club.
