Felt: Smart thinking, citylinking

Apparently might be possible through club contacts, to get Felt on in Glasgow & Edinburgh. Not quite as regularly as the one in Dundee, but maybe monthly.. at least while I work full-time & can't actually drive, but yeah..

Would people want to come?

Hehe.. that'd be cool if some of the Dundee contigent made the effort to go through too!

I'd hope that a load of locals would wanna go as well though so that it doesn't just end up being Dundee Felt IN Glasgow which would just cost yous more money than the average night out. That'd be good though if Dundee people wanted to come!

It would depend what day it would be on. If its a Saturday night it would be easier to go though and crash somewhere the night. Would cost a bit though but would be a good change for a night out once every so often. A good idea would be if a bus was put on to take folk through, i reckon a lot more ppl would come then. would be great!

Aye Becca, it'd be GREAT if you lot wanted to come through but the idea isn't entirely to bring Dundee through or make money from it or anything, just that a few friends in Glasgow mentioned that there's nothing really like it through there and they would love it to go there, so I figured maybe a monthly or bi-monthly slot through there might be cool.

It's not gonna be the same as when Cage goes to the Cathouse or whatever with laid on buses and stuff, I was more wanting the opinion of the local people to see if it'd be busy! But feel free to keep me company on the Megabus, gang!

i know what u mean it would be a good idea and would do down well.the only problem is those cities already have similar club night.well at least i know that laura has been to a similar sort of indie night somewhere in edinburgh,think theres a couple on actually
in glasgow there is a night at the QMU called style and substance which is basically felt but bigger and with not as nice a DJ lol.
i dunno about the centre of glasgow though,that could be a good place to put it.

i live in glasgow and I don't actually know what felt is, aside from somewhere everyone on ugs goes to hang with the cool kids.

How about a typical playlist or something to give us folks an idea of what kind of night it is.

while i'm not entirely sure of most of the bands, i have heard of the cure, the smiths, housemartins, duran duran, belle and sebastian, at the drive-in, descendents, le tigre, pulp, undertones, etc... being played. I'm not huge on all of these bands and i certainly don;t go just be cool but its a fucking good laugh, great social event (y)
