an Idea for Felt

ok, so i'm guessing everyone who goes to Felt loves their music so i was thinking how about we share the love and have a "mix tape" swap?

it wouldn't take much effort just a bag to put the tapes in, put your tape in then take someone elses out and enjoy their music.

i have gained knowledge of some very good bands getting involved in these at gigs etc...

so - anyone else, especialy people who organise the night, up for this?

how about mixtapes/cds as alot of people have cd burners these days and cds are that cheap.
really good idea though id be up for that....if and when i get my comp working.

yeah cdr's would be ace too

but don't you find comp cds are colder and too rushed - they lack the passion and flow of a well thought out mix tape

Mix tapes rule. I made Mike one about 2 weeks ago and it was so much fun! Took a while as well. CD's you just click and select then burn. Tapes are a lot more fun. More thought out and planned I reckon.

I'd definately do it!

you have obviously never experienced one of my cdr's

i go the whole hog with super dooper arty covers and track listing,inserts etc etc give the cd album titles from my own made up label.....arent i cool?

i do these things when im bored.

i know what you mean. i feel the exact same way. So when I make mix cd's i put more thought and more effort into them, and make sure i listen to the entire thing all the way through before i give it to anyone.

yeh yeh mixtapes are cool.. gerard has made me two so far n i love them.
its all cool having computers to print off covers etc but there is nuthing beter than a hand written track list with doodles all over it!!

but i don't know if i can. I lost the ability to make mix tapes. Kinda need something to drive me to make it.
Only ever made tapes for my ex "before, during and after" Some of the best mix tape ever were made then.

But if we set a date i'll try my hardest to finish one.
