feltography?
i want ritch to return as the feltographer...i think after the 'xdave kisses girlx' scandal he's lost his confidence but i miss the whole thing. he takes a good range of photos and isn't scared to tackle any subject...even abbot.

She does have a point though. In my opinon, if you're 'Offical Feltographer' I would say taking pictures of people other than your friends is a good idea. I'm not saying taking pics of buds is wrong and shouldn't be done, but, there might be people who go to Felt *every* week, who may or may not post on this forum that never appear in the pics purely because they're not part of your circle of friends. Surely they deserve some memory of their night as well? I'm not trying to start an argument or anything; as it is, I really like the pics I've seen from Felt, even though I know like only one or two of the people starring in them. If you're a photographer for a club or whatever, it's pretty much guarenteed that you're gonna take pics of buds but like in places like Fat Sams or even the Mardi, their photographers take pics of random people as well as their friends. As well, another idea could be to post all the pics on the the main Felt website, that way, people who aren't on UGS/don't know about UGS and it's many Feltography threads will get to see them as well. Anyways that's just my opinon, I'm waiting on it being shot down. |

yeah,i know what u mean and ur right i do take too many photos of my friends.BUT,there has been many photos in the past that i have no idea who is in them and often have to ask people who they are.alot of the people who go to felt sit upstairs most of the night, which i dont venture often because i prefer to stay down on the dance floor and bar area. the reason i don't take random pictures of people i don't know at all is that i dont want to invade their privacy, maybe they dont want their photo taken? but this week im actually going to be wearing a hat andy helped me pick out.its going to be a plain truckers hat with "felt-ographer" written on the front of it. so come and say hello! edit* as for the photos just being on here i am plannin on makin a website with all my photos on it landscape, bands, people etc on it.then i suppose i could just link to it on here. ) Mind you, they get paid for that job. It's cool that photos are been taking, but Felt isn't really a UGS event... There's plenty of people that go there off here, but I think more people go that aren't on these forums. Do your photos get put on the web-site? (Just curious). Yeah privacy is a valid point, but photographers or whatever at the Union, Fat Sams and the Mardi ask individuals before they take pics of them. Like they'll stop them and ask if it's okay if they want a posed one kinda thing. Obviously dancing shots + crowded dancefloor shots you can't really stop and ask *everyone*, so from what I've seen other phot |
