funnily enough, i was about to mention American Pie as having one of my least favourite soundtracks...

i like the soundtrack to the new honda ads. film-wise, my fave is O Brother Where Art Thou. i can't think of any other film where the music fits the pictures so perfectly.

Eric Serra's Leon sountrack score (and also Venus As a Boy by Bjork from that)
Labyrinth
Donnie Darko (of course)

And... the Tarantino soundtracks are always good if not a tad overplayed now.. I'm liking the Kill Bill soundtrack especially that song by the 5..6..7..8s Woo Woo or whatever it's called (AKA the crazy Japanese one done by the crazy Japanese band in the crazy Japanese club).

Oh yeah and Lost Boys as well.

My favourite Disney song is "Pink Elephants on Parade" from Dumbo, and the "Walrus and the Carpenter" from Alice In Wonderland is also brilliant.

They don't make them like they used to, nowadays they get Phil Collins and the like to record cheesy, sentimental rubbish.

any soundtracks by James Newton Howard - Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense, etc.

Also a lot of disney sound tracks were great...

This is the most terrifying song and indeed scene from a film EVER. Or maybe it was because I had the flu, hadn't slept and watched it at 6AM while drinking too much blue Quosh.... in 1987.

oh yea certainly elephants on pardade - its so surreal. I also like Cruella Devil from 101 dalmations - pretty sad but it's quite an amusing song.
