reletivity also deals with gravity, not being a particle carrying a force as quantum theorists (chaos theorists) believe, but it is infact our perception of the warping of space-time like so
thus gravity can travel faster than light because it is not a "thing", hsa no mass and is not energy, the speed of it is stated is relative to the obsever always appearing to be 3*10^8 ms-1 (three times ten to the power of eight meters per second) faster than the observer, regardless of the observers speed, causes the observerss perception of time to alter relative to the absolute speed of light, i.e. relative to the absolute speed of the observer, thus the faster you travel, the slower time apears to pass. in short |

Pretty much yeah. If you're basing your gravity travels as fast as the speed of light theory on the experiment that involved the alignment of Jupiter and a quasar you'll find that many scientists not only question the accuracy of the entire experiment but also agree that it was simply a measurement of the speed of light. True, General Relativity suggests that the force of gravity should propogate at the speed of light but if you feel you can prove that and reconcile it with Special Relativity then I'd be very interested to hear from you. So would a lot of scientists.
