im talking in terms of what expectations you have of actors and JC wasnt his usual outrageous unbelievable yet believable character

i love fear and loathing, like a lot of people i saw the movie first, and i think it must be one of the best book to film translations ever, especially considering how difficult it must've been to turn it into a film. apparently when hunter s thompson watched it at the premier, during the scene near the start when the bats start swooping down over the car, he was flapping his hands about going "get these damn beast off me!" i've read a lot of his stuff now, and i reckon hell's angels would make a great movie too, he spent a year hanging out with the angels and wrote a book about it. has anyone seen "where the buffalo roam" which has bill murray as hunter s thompson? i've not seen it, but i've heard it's a bit shite.

F*king class film like, watched it first time in the weee hours of the mourning drunk and out of it....it made more sense then...
