frumpcore bowso is an unknown quantity at this point
Tim Burton's genius

I hadn't really heard of him before the beginning of the year ( I know but I'm not a film buff) but then saw Sleepy Hollow and Big Fish, and they're just sooooooo cool! Also the book of the melancholy death of oyster boy is very funny but sick at the same time, but mostly funny!

You should see Ed Wood too, it's still great even though it doesn't have an Elfman soundtrack (they had a wee falling out). Plus it has Bill Murray in it.

He is brilliant. He is the only person who made a Batman film, worthy of being a batman film. Those others are just plain shite.
Ed Wood is great, and so is edward scissor hands.
I liked Big Fish a lot too.
He seems to have the ability to tell great stories through film. There should be more directors like him.

I like the fact he can create different and unique worlds. Some films just look the same. But with a Tim Burton film you could walk in half way through one and just know by looking he was the director.
His take on Planet Of The Apes was amazing, better than the original.(everyone I talk to forgets he did that)
