I can't, for the life of me, understand why Dennis Hopper is not as greatly ranked as Eddie Murphy! Eddie Murphy plays the same fucking character over, and over, and over again, whereas Dennis Hopper is an outstanding, flexible actor.

There's a few others in there that I don't agree with, but it's an alright list.

Sigh. Well, the top 20's ok, mainly understandable. But Dennis Hopper cant seriously be no.80 when we have fucking Kate Winslet at 50 or whatever. Much higher than Hopper anyway, which is wrong. & Will Smith higher than Sidney Poitier.....i dont think so! No Sir Ian McKellen, no Charlie or even Martin Sheen for christs sake!!! Hmmmm, dont even get me started on Kiefer Sutherland not being there.....

Its a list of the greast Movie Stars not actors, thats what i had to keep telling myself when I was watching the program to stop getting too pissed off.

That's a good point.
It raises the issue over the film industry these days as well; no one really pays too much attention to the performances of actors these days (unless they're noticeably VERY bad).

A lot of people don't like challenging themselves anymore, they're just looking for explosions and special effects. My flatmate's a prime example of this: if it doesn't have any action in it, he labels it as 'shite'. You just have to look at his film collection to see this:

So because she wasn't as hot... She was 26 lower than Audrey Hepburn? ok.

I happen to really like her films and think she was a really good actor. But as has been said before it's not about the acting it's about the movie stars and she was one of the greatest movie stars, so she definitely should of been higher.

Damn right man. I used to watch him all the time and then they stopped showing his movies and my dad said it was cos he made people's tummys hurt so much from laughing they had to take his films off the TV.
