anyone seen troy yet? just watched it, such an excellent film, the battle scenes werent too bad, could have been better. the acting was great though, brian cox and sean bean to name a few, brat pitt wasnt bad. orlando bloom was awful but that didnt shock me really. besides that, its a must see!

brad pitt is a great actor, i'd be dissapointed if he was only "not bad".

compared to the talent that he was around, he didnt shine out as much, but still, he wasnt BAD in any case

Aye, well the battle scenes were ace as said, the acting all over i didnt think was too great, but Eric Bana was absolutely amazing i thought, the best by far. Sean Bean was also great, but then we all know old Seen is the man! But jesus christ sake, how the hell does Orlando Bloom get roles?!? He was so poor, i was actually laughing out loud at his attempts at acting. Thinking randomly lifting your eyebrows constitutes acting, god sake. Aye, but Brad Pitt, he was great as he is pretty much all his roles, but there wasnt much to get hold of on the character, & he was definitely overshadowed by Bana & Bean. All in all, though, a great epic!

It was pretty good apart from that bloody Orlando Bloom. He can't act!

Only other thing that pissed me off was the lips were out of time with the audio quite a lot at the start.

Has anyone ever noticed that in just about every brad pitt film there is at least one point when he just stands still looking thoughtful (otherwise known as posing)!? Like in Troy when he's on the boat.
I had such a laugh at that film, so many of the lines were stolen from other things!

I thought Brad was super, especially in the scenes where he had no clothes on, an yeah i totally noticed the posing! thought it was hilarious! as was Orlandos acting, he is absolutely shite! how does he get these roles?! what a wimp as well, wouldnt evn fight for his woman...

Saw this last night, not a bad film at all, I thought everyone in it was pretty good apart from Orlando Bloom as well...pretty, but not too hot in the acting stakes.
Didn't even seem like it was almost three hours long

i went to see it a couple of nights ago and theought the movie was really good, i agree that orlando bloom is a totally shite actor he was a total pussy in the movie. i would have killed him if i was hector

the first scene where brad pitt kills the big dude is the best bit in the film.orlando bloom is pussy in it,but thats what paris was like in real life so i suppose he played it well even though he is a shit actor.
i did however miss the last 20 minutes due to my buses back to blair being shite and this film being 3 hrs long,but i know what happens.

hector was the best actin in the film,even though ive forgotten the acotrs name.

Eric Bana plays Hector, he was shit hot in the film chopper aswell.

troy was ok, i loved how writers think the Greeks came up with the idea for the wooden horse, cheesy as hell.

i know slight historical slip from the director on the wooden horse front,me and my dad were laughing about it (hes big on greek history)
