i went to see this film last night and it is fuking amazing, one of the best films i've seen in a while....anybody else seen it....some eye opening stuff in it

I went to see it on Thursday, and I thought it was interesting.......but there's something missing, I don't know what.....but it wasn't as good as Bowling For Colombine. It's basically just a film version of his last 2 books (which are much much better), pretty much all of the stuff is from the books. I'd definitely recommend goin to see it, but read the books too.

George Bush a simple simple man though!

I am interested in seeing this. He has a very unique way of presenting his films, which I do not always agree with but regardless, he is an interesting fella.

I thought it was shit, but only in context. in theory, I agree with what Micheal Moore is doing, he's trying to expose the Bush administration for what they are, and educate the masses who are quite ignorant on the subject. however, in order to actually appeal to these people, he makes these films which are nothing more than over the top sensationalism, and in my opinion completely trivialise the matter at hand; it's brainwashing to combat brainwashing. I didn't learn anything I didn't already know when I saw the film, I just had to sit through 2 hours of crying families, stupid songs, and (admittedly, quite funny) little sendups of George W. Bush.

I guess in the end it's not Michael Moore I've got a grudge against, it's his methods, and unfortunately they're neccessary to actually get Joe Public to listen to the real facts. there's nothing said in that film that needs dressed up or glamourised, the facts really do speak for themselves, but no-one will actually go the bother of finding them out for themselves. Farenheit 9/11 just took another chunk out of my faith in humanity. depressing.

The whole point of the movie is to remove Bush from power by showing people what a dick he is.

To that end I hope it will be very successful.
