BEST - Bambi, The Rescuers (I liked the dark humour), The Rescuers Down Under, The Fox & The Hound (gorgeous animation), The Jungle Book, Lady & The Tramp
WORST - Pinnochio, Fantasia (what's going on?), Mulan (too bloody stupid)

Best - Fantasia, Lady and the Tramp, the Jungle Book, Bambi, Pinocchio, Song Of The South, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Alice In Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, 101 Dalmations, The Little Mermaid.

worst - Anything Recent, save Disney/Pixar. Hercules is fucking awful.

But I think my all time favourites would be Dumbo, and the Reluctant Dragon

Best for me, Sleeping Beauty (for the stylistic elements), and Fantasia.

The Lion King is the best animated Disney film by a country mile. It's like Hamlet but with lions.

The Pirates of the Caribbean is also up there. I have a strong conviction that Johnny Depp could play Keith Richards if Tim Burton were to ever make a biography of The Rolling Stones.

lady and the tramp gets 2 mentions!

and it deserves it

favourite: bambi (even though it is possibly the most heart wrenching)
worst: any of the new stuff...too much good graphics

Best : The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Robin Hood and Aladdin

Worst: Tarzan, Pocahontas and Fantasia

I know it's not a Disney movie but I'm gonna give An American Tail an honourable mention.

It's disconcerting to see Fantasia feature so heavily in peoples worst Disney film lists. It's definately the boldest movie Disney ever did, you'd never see a sequence like the one on 'Night On Bald Mountain' in a Disney film nowadays.
It's great that they were doing something so out-there in 1940.

I agree, you just have to look at the quality of the penmanship and the atmosphere generated in that film to see what a huge task it must have been, both artistically and technically.
It makes the computer generated efforts of todays offerings seem so trite and amateurish.

why does no-one like Tarzan? its one of my all time favourite movies (not just disney) the animation is awesome and the scenes where he's sliding down the branches are second to none. other favoutites of mine are sword in the stone, hercules and alice in wonderland.

worst - 101 dalmations, and the new ones that i havent othered watching because they look baws.

Favourites;

Basil the Great Mouse Detective- only disney movie to keep singing to a minimum

The Lion King- just rawked basically

err....there was a short disney film i saw once which was amazing, called "Runaway bBrain" where mickey got his brain swapped with a baddie and minnie got kidnapped by him, that was cool, mind you an "evil mickey mouse" kinda traumatized lots of kids in the cinema hehe :\

anyway, Worst....

Pocahontas- there was actually cheddar pouring out the TV when i saw this one :S

Snow White- mainly cause of that scene where the evil witch turns into the old hag, that terrified me as a kid, i mean those hands...*shudder*

that new "Brother Bear" i only saw like 20 mins on pirate and turned it off, it was COMPLETELY riddled with AIDS it was tragic :S
