The bank scene for one was a load of shite- edited and rearranged to give the wrong impression. Fuck, i bet you think there's guns kept at that bank? |

michael moore is a fuking brilliant film maker, he opens ur eyes to shit u knew about but never really thought about it that much, his books are good aswell...all the stuff he says in the movie may not be 100% accurate but he is pretty dam fuking close and if u think he just makes things up then u r a single minded ****.
and as for bush he is a fuking idiot and yes he is that bad he is a puppet for his daddies friends, he cannot make up his own choices he gets told what to do and when to do it...all he is doing is finishing what his daddy couldn't do when he was presedent...i'm for the war in iraq but it could have been achieved in another way, and last of all the americans arent the same as the iraqs, they are worse. *awaiting a bad rep point or a complaint* |

I really dont like him. Soure he's made some excelent points, hes's opened a lot of americans eyes, but in the end he has no problem with making a phenominon out of himself .
My personal gripe is that he's WAY too loose with his statistics which he throws all around the place. He uses sensationalist numbers without anythign to compare them to all the time. .Word of advice kids. Stats are easy as fuck to make into whatever you want. In general, if it's a statistic, then if you cant be bothered to really think about it behond the big numbers and scaryness, then dont trust it. Its not right that one man like him gets so much recognition for his actions. Because in the end he's out there for one thing, him. |

He's clever enough to know that if he was to tell a lie, his work / documentaries would be discredited. How can the bank scene possibly have happened in any other way? You can plainly see them standing in the bank with a shotgun. Dont tell me thats a fake bank. Also i'm just wondering, are you saying that getting Walmart to stop stocking firearms ammunition was a bad thing? As that was one of the main results from the documentary and i think quite a positive one at that.

i disagree to this also. If you believe Michael Moore over every one else then thats a bit one sided too isnt it? after all its his point of view over anything else really. However as for the puppet thing, thats totally true. Bush doesnt really run America, its the people behind the scenes and i absolutely believe that his father played a massive role in his decision to take America to war with Iraq. If they went there to ease the humanitarian situation and the suffering of the Iraqi people and the threat to international security, then i can think of at least 5 other places on the planet that pose a more serious threat, including 2 nuclear nations, a region of Africa where ethnic cleansing is taking place as we speak and i aint even mentioned to Korean peninsula yet.

Michael Moore is not the best of journalists - not at all. He has, however, managed to open people's eyes to the fact that the Bush regime is illegitimate and crooked with Farenheit 9/11. Surely that's not a bad thing?
Michael Moore is not trying to be objective - he's trying to put accross his own views and make others see things the same way. Yes, his work is bordering on propaganda (a word which has negative connotations due to its uses in the past, notably by the Nazis), but it is propaganda which is being used with the intention of creating a positive outcome. That is not a bad thing. You needn't believe everything Moore says, but surely you can accept the fact that he makes some very valid points in his work. |
