Requiem for a Dream....
Has anyone else seen it?
I saw this film for the first time the other day and thought it was ace. Quite depressing though. I don't think I could watch it if I was feeling the slightest bit down. I really want to read the book as well. So yeah, has anyone else seen it? What do they think of it? I loved the way it was shot + I think the soundtrack compliments the film perfectly. |

I thought Requiem for a Dream was excellent.
I intitially watched it because it was directed by the same guy that did "Pi", but it is pretty different. I don't think I would ever watch it again though, it's one of those films where once is enough. |

Ive seen pi, and LOVED it!
Both films have fantastic sound tracks. I had the RFAD one ages before seeing the film so it was good finnally getting to put images to it. Felt like a bit of a dick tho after the first time i saw RFAD tho cos i was watching it with my gf not knowing what its about and it turns out her grans getting EST done to her just now so the last scenes in the film did NOT go down too well!!! |

Man, I can't imagine they would. I hated those bits, they were horrible, I had to totally shut my eyes. The whole near- end sceney bit, with them all in their own situations is pretty intense and sad ![]() |

When the guy is injecting himself in the car, and hes got what can only be best described as a nodule, freaked me out
It was the girls story that i thought was the worst at the end, i felt really sorry for her. |

Yeah totally, rather than show all this Anti Drugs stuff in schools, they should just sit the kids down to watch that instead. I think it would be way more successful! ![]() |
