A Beautiful Mind

watched this movie tonight for the first time, prolly the only movie with Russel Crowe in it that i enjoyed... partly because he wasnt playing a nutcase beefcake, but a sensitive character... for which i think he won an Oscar.

Its based on a true story about a genius mathematician who also suffers from schizophrenia, and goes on to win the Nobel Prize later on in his life. Its a fairly moving film. Anyone else seen this?

I've seen it. I quite enjoyed it, and like you said, I think Russell Crowe's quite good in it.

I saw it, loved it, bought it.

Yeah, that film makes you feel so bad for the guy. It's also a good way of seeing what it can be like for folk who suffer from the disease.
