I saw it a few years ago. Is it supposed to be real? I think when i saw it, it was claiming to be real footage.... which i believed until they put the girl on the spike. I thought it was banned.... but i saw it in hmv the other day.....

they've been around for ages and ages but really came into the limelight when the first blair witch movie was released. you can see where some of the ideas for blair witch came from.

'The last broadcast' is the best docufiction film ive seen.
It fuckin ownz the blair witch! I found cannibal holocaust in the boot of a ford fiesta when i was in a scrappies. I pocketed it and watched it that night at a mate's house. it was total class! but the tape was so old that it got mangled in his machine and fucked his video ![]() |

i watched this film about 10 years ago while it was still banned, it was pretty entertaining at the time because all those films were still banned, like "texas chainsaw massacre" and "the necromantic" so it was a bit of a buzz watching it at 2am while being only 15.
i found the girl getting a stone hammered into her chuff pretty disturbing though... yeah , blair witch makers take note on how it should be done! |

![]() Nah, I haven't actually seen it, but it features quite prominently David Kerekes + David Slater's book 'Killing for Culture: an Illustrated History of Death Film From Mondo to Snuff'. It's an interesting read. |
