I hated how in Jeepers Creepers, you think it's gonna be a man, and then it turns out to be some shitty monster.

secret window

"oh my god... it was all actually in my head... and im actually the murderer and didnt know...."

it was really enjoyable up until that point.

ps. i liked the monster in JC, but 99% of the film was a crappy car chase. yawn.

I thought "Saw" was excellent. It had the feel "Seven" did. I hate all the movies by that Director...not clever at all.

They really need to stop trying to put clever twists in films. They rarely stretch much further than "OMG I WOEK UP N IT WOZ ALL LIEK A DREEM YEH?"
And you run a fair risk of sacrificing the actual quality of the screenwriting and plot if it's all geared towards a twist.

Some films it works perfectly though, Fight Club wouldn't be fight club without the twist

and The Usual Suspects twist is perfect.

The Village is basically a bastard version of Brotherhood Of The Wolf... in English, made in Hollywood, with worse ideas, no real content and poor imagery.

Just watch Brotherhood Of The Wolf and wish you had never set eyes upon The Village.

I thought fight club had a brilliant twist at the end and i dont think it would have been half as good if tyler was an actual person. The same with seven, at the end of the film i was just thinking fuck, the killer was an asshole......but a clever asshole.

Worst twist to a film i think of the top of my head was so i married an axe murderer. Although i think its funny and all that i knew what the ending was going to be half way thru the film. But maybe they made it an obvious twist for comedy value??? I dunno, now im just rambling.

I don't even think there was a twist in that film... just a weak, obvious plot.
