anyone familiar with this jap mentalist? his most well known films are audition and ichi the killer, which i've still not seen, but he has made so many films i wonder if he ever actually sleeps. dead or alive is one of the best gangster movies i have ever seen, the first ten minutes will blow you away, and the ending will leave you just thinking "what the fuck?!" i watched it late at night, and i thought i must have fallen asleep and dreamt the ending, it really is that fucked up. visitor Q is quite possibly the most fucked up film ever, it is horribly depraved, if you think you've seen some sick films, you have to check it out.

i got a box set of a few of his films the other week, it has boiling point, violent cop, not had a chance to watch them yet, but his stuff is awesome. plus he is the same takeshi that is behind takeshi's castle. which is never bad!!

Gozu is by far the craziest film i have ever seen and Ichi the Killer is hilarious up until the point where i can't take anymore and then i just gets scary. One of teh best directors ever in my opinion

takeshi's castle is pretty messed up, its halarious watching people hurt themselves on those wobbly stones (my fav game). but craig charles always trys to make out its worse than it is. im sure i saw a girl break her ribs though...
"ooo shes in the drink!"

after youve seen 100 japanese fools hurt themselves in the attempt to win absolutely NO PRIZE, its gets a bit boring.

ive been trying to get some of his films but ive never seen them cheap anywhere.
