Went to the 10.00 am showing at UGC this morning. Absolutely loved it, exceeded all my expectations. Hayden Cristensen's acting seems to have improved and Ewan McGregor just blew me away as Obi-Wan.

After being slightly dissapointed with eps 1 and 2 I'm glad to see this one redeem the latest trilogy. The action is great and the story is far more streamlined than the previous two, no crap just a nice flowing story which ties up all the loose ends and explains a lot.

Spoiler:

The only gripe I have is when the Emperor is getting owned by Mace his face transforms and looks pretty ridiculous - really bad prosthetic.

Also there is a pretty decent dvd rip of this out, only problem is a couple of timer counters on the screen.

I might browse this at cinema or just wait till they release the dvd trilogy(for episodes 1-3).

Yeah, since Anakin skywalker's story is complete, there's no need to aparently.

There will be a tv series set between 3 and 4 though.

so... are there the stories for 7-9 written yet? is someone else gonna make them? where's the sense in saying it's coming in 9 parts and then after 6 say there's no point making the rest?

im trying to download it but its only running at 6kb/s. 55 peers and only 4 sharing. stupid fuckers

Make sure you get the Xvid re-encode and not the original iso file, it has a few problems.

the film was terrible, i was severely gutted after i saw it. was sitting there wanting to like it but i just couldnt.

there were no good fight scenes really, only flashes of lightsabre infront of the camera and close up facial expressions. plus any fights were over too quickly. no darth maul style epics.
they didnt spend enough time on any of the 5 massive wars that were meant to be going on, mustve been about 5 mins tops on the wookies fighting.
they tried to fit far too much into the one film and therefore skipped over alot of stuff.
the jedi temple part was really dissapointing, anyone who has played the game will agree that if theyd added the whole library section it wouldv been amazing.
plus me and my mate have noticed quite a bit flaw in the story, padme dies during child birth, however, in return of the jedi when luke asks leia if she remembers anything about her real mother, she says that she died when she was very young but she remembers her being beautiful and only remembers images. she's never seen her!
the funniest scene is when vader finds out that padme is dead tho, arms in the air "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

had a few cool parts though and its still worth seeing. it is star wars after all!!!!
