White Noise... who's seen it?

It was indeed very tempting to go for the obvious play-on-words... Shite Noise... oh look, I did.

I wasn't impressed at all, it was just a wannabe of The Ring and Final Destination. Not as scary as The Ring and not as edgy as FD though.

The "scary" bit's were way too obvious, so much so I was able to count down from 5 perfectly before every one. They almost managed to put a good twist in at the end but failed miserably.

Anyone else seen it got anything to add?

I like Michael Keaton so was looking forward to this. I thought the story had potential but tailed off and kind of got lost towards the end. I will watch it again some day as I don't think it was utter shite, just lost focus of the story somewhere.

The scariest part for me was when the 'bad' ghosts came through the speaker system, those guys sounded pissed off, I wouldn't want them haunting my house.

Other than that it was quite eerie, but not shit yourself scary.

Yeah, Michael Keaton was a shining light of hope for me that flickered out when he didn't put on a rubber suit and defeat the evil with some hi-tch gadgets.

what was the deal with those evil ghostie things anyway? I think the closest we got to a description was "those who like destruction"... I like destruction, doesn't turn me into a Raiders-Of-The-Lost-Arc-ripping-people-to-shreds style ghoul - it was also fairly obvious from the start that Mr Keaton's character would get snuffed at the end seeing as how his kid had a mother who he was clearly closer too.

Admittedly, I have seen a lot worse movies (and enjoyed them more) - I'm just getting sick of watching Hollywood's Rules To Making A Successful Film over and over again.

I went to see this with my boyfriend and we were really disappointed, especally with the ending.

the ending is SOOOOOOOOOOO rediculous!!!! oh man, it was all pretty bad!

it was getting really interesting till he started talking to his wife via the tv but the ghosts at the end are what truely pushed it over the edge.

The Ring was scarey?

I disliked this film. I had been studying white noise in acoustics only a few weeks previous to watching it. Eep.

I kept thinking about using bandpass filters to make pretty sounds out of filtered noise because the movie sucked so fucking hard.
