Your Favourite Movie Montage

For me, definately the montage in 'Scarface' - not only does it feature a wedding, an official opening/ribbon cutting, and the main character making loads of money, it also features an amazing 80s made-for-a-montage song.

as soon as i hear the word montage the rocky films pop right into my head. so it has to be them. the one that pops out the most for me would be the one where he trains out in russia. im pretty sure thats 4 ain't it?

aye. im sure 'burning heart' by Survivor is the song. classic montage - good choice.

the scarface montage is just mindblowing, it perfectly illustrates how montana's empire has grown so massive that money is flowing into it like water, i thik the first scene right after the montage scene is tony sitting at his desk with like 2 kilo's of coke just lying in a mound on his desk and he just sticks his puss in it with a straw. guid stuff.

i personally hate the montage's in every bloody adam sandler film where his character has exactly 12 weeks to win a golf tourney, pass school, become a footie player, grow horns, etc. i like adam sandler in other people's films when they let him improvise and i like his albums but fuck me if all his own films don't have the same plot structure :/

personal favourite montage is the ending to requiem for a dream where all 4 characters are spiralling towards their destiny and it shows you the last days in their shoes as a kinda montage that flips between the 4 of them getting faster and faster until the crescendo. amazing effect in an amazing film.

The start of Commando, not only do we get to see Arnie carrying a giant log on one arm, feeding a deer and chopping wood, but we also see him fondle an albeit young Alyssa Milano in a swimming pool.
