It's not a cult classic, or an alt-movie or one of those films that only a few know about but love, it just seems to me to be TRYING REALLY HARD to be at least of the above. A real laboured attempt at being quirky.

I only watched half of it though, so maybe it improved enough as to be able to be mentioned in the same sentence as You've Been Framed, but I doubt it.

The radio interview I heard with the lad that plays Napoleon was really dull as well. I mean, he was on Radio 1 when it came out, and the guy interviewing him was saying how it's a "cult comedy" and "really funny" and "everyone should see it". Like Donnie Darko, when it first came out was quite a cult little film, only showed at a handful of cinemas, hardly anyone had seen it, but now lots of really dull people have seen it and cite it as their favourite film, bought the cut price £5 budget DVD from FOPP and act like it's still something really underground. Something can't be billed as a cult comedy or a cult anything until it has a cult following, and as it was being billed as this pre-release, I just thought... SHITE.

I'm not trying to fight the man or anything, but it did seem like it really tried hard to appeal to, and cash in on the quirky and apathetic geek-chic indie phenomena of generation.. Y? Z maybe?

Check us out, we're really wacky and geeky, except now it's cool to be really wacky and geeky, so it's cool!

Mark really likes it though, and he's usually the sobre yin to my raging yang. And his shoulders are completely chip-free.

Zoolander though.. now you're talking.
powerful.

Kip reminds me of the UGS user Rebelius for some reason. its a compliment though, Kip is a great character.

I really didn't like it. At the end I was just saying: "em, what the hell was the point in that?" I didn't laugh once, it mustn't appeal to my sense of humor at all!

It's dry humour which isn't my thing really. But I still think it's great.

Dry humour is good.
ND is pish, therefore it is not dry humour it is merely dry, but not your normal dry. OH NO! it is too far gone for that! it is a barren wasteland of a distopia in which all that breeds is the cactus of misfortune.
