"Déjà Vu" at the cinema.

It's a really interesting premise, and is done well. Denzel Washington's cool as, as always. Great cast, well worth checking out. I guarantee you'll be going "huh?" at the end.

Last film I watched was Kidulthood. Was a good film like, just a bit frustrating at parts since I could relate really well with the characters at points.

Another film I watched recently was ATL! Fantastic fucking film, I urge everyone to see it! Also night at the museum. (Yes I watched them all lastnight!)

I snapped up the Back to the Future trilogy for a tenner the other day. Last night was the turn of part 3.
I have a number of problems with the whole concept though...

1. Surely when Marty got to 15ish his Dad'd be pretty alarmed to see that his son had turned out to look exactly like the guy his mum fancied at school. His mum would surely notice the resemblance too.

2. When Marty goes back to 1955 for the second time, Biff still gets knocked out by George. Surely getting the sports almanac from his older self and all the stuff that goes along with that would change things enough to stop this from happening at the same time and place.

3. Surely, rather than go into the future in part 2, the Doc would just tell Marty about his son getting in trouble in 2015 as a heads up so he could prevent it when the time arrives.

4. The fact that everything is so radically different when Marty returns from 1955 for the first time would mean that his entire life experience would have been different from his own memories.

5. At the end of part 3, you don't find out the consequences of Marty and Doc's shenanigans in 1885 on the timeline. Which must've been significant.

6. The special effects in part 3 are rubbish, the flying train at the end completely ruins it.

Despite this, its still in my trilogy of favourite trilogys (with Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones)

Whenever a film or TV show involves time travel of any kind just... don't. think. about. it.

Your brane will thank you.

Think my last film was The Last King of Scotland. Was really good, with Forest Whitaker turning in one of those performaces that makes you short of breath at times.

Totoro is fantastic.

Last film i watched was a childhood favourite, 'Hot Shots!', Lloyd bridges is the best thing about that film, 'You're probably wondering whats wrong with my pants, well they ran out of material before they reached the knee so dont give me any shit.'

I'd call it deliberate playfulness with spelling.
