Glengarry Glen Ross

Has anyone seen this absolute gem of a film? It's an adaptation of David Mamets play and tells the story of several estate agents trying to keep their jobs. The cast is fucking unreal! Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin, Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey, Alan Arkin and Jack Lemmon, which was incidentally his last film before he died. The performances are spectacular and the film is littered with some of the best lines I've ever heard! I really can't recommend it enough!

Aye, it's class. One of those films where you just marvel at the talent of everyone involved.

Wouldn't mind seeing this.

I bought this in grouchos for 2 pounds after reading this thread. Why it was priced so low is criminal - immense film. The actiung and style of directing were first class.

Absolutely. I love dialogue driven films like this - it really allows actors to 'open up'. So many good quotes.

Even Alec Baldwin's role was amazing. Five stars.

Sometimes movies with barren background music are just too tense to allow you to pay attention but this one got the balance spot on.

The wonderful Jack Lemmon lasted a fair few years and appeared in a number of films after Glengarry Glen Ross thankfully!
