I've been reading about the spartans for a while and when I heard this movie was coming out I was dead excited, so I hope it is good. Not seen it yet but I'll hopefully see it next week.

i may just be slightly judgemental but it looks like a mash up of troy and gladiator in the visual style of casshern. doesnt really tickle my fancy.

Went to see it the other night, was ok, well cheesy though. Its basically made up from one liners and there's this really not very tasteful sex scene at the beginning that comes out of nowhere, the accents also put me off it didnt help hold things together very well. It was entertaining though and some ace fight scenes.

I wanna see this, love frank miller! Ive read on the net lots of people moaning that its not historically accurate and all that bollocks, but its based on a comic book! Its almost completely faithful to the comic, visual style and script included

apparently theyr making the prequel and sequel to 300 too! The Battle of Marathon and the one after 300, cant remember the name

i thought the film was pretty awesome, and a 2hours its not got any long passages of boring parts which is pretty good.

Considering the amount of potential characters they only really develop a handful which i thought could have been the only improvement id have made...

fuckin hell i was well let down by this film, i appritiate the visuals are supposed to be cartoon-ish and over-exaggerated, and i think thats cool, but another thing that is heavily over used is smelly old rotten CHEESE
and waaaaaay too much of it !!!

Hah, nah, let's just say I 'acquired' it. I wanna go see it in the cinema though cos I imagine it'll be a million times better than on my shitty wee tv .

It is a bit cheesy in bits, and Gerard Butler's Scottish accent in places totally amuses me but I still love it.
