Spider-man 3

hmmmmmm

i really enjoyed it but there were a few bits that just shouldn't have happened

I don't know how to do spolier tags so i won't go on, but if anyone else is/was (its all getting a bit more nostalgia than fan-boy-ism for me these days) as into spiderman as much as i am the ending, though spectacualr, left a bit of a sour taste.

that minor point aside i thought it was grade A popcorn fodder and the best "hollywood blockbuster" i've seen in years!

I enjoyed it, didnt understand it all though, like why isnt there more story developement for that black stuff, like where did it come from and why isnt it properly adressed by the characters, also the boses seem a bit pointless, whats the point in the sand man? what he turns into sand, breaks some shit then stops when somebody gets hurt, whats the point?? also enom, whats that all bout?? some guy nobody gives a shit about turns into that thing then dies, seems a bit trvial, I know it sounds like i dislike the film but those complaints were on my mind and frankly are overshadowed by the fun I had watching the amazing fight scenes, special effects and acting

I thought it was pish.

Spoiler:

- There was no point in having the Sand Man there at all, completely uncessary.
- Venom. Should have been the 'main' bad guy. Venom used to scare the tits off me when I was wee and in the film he wasn't really all that scary. So much more could have been made of him. Also, why feel the need to kill him off? Totally wiped out after a brief, shitty, appearance in a overall shitty film. The lack of the use of the first person 'we' also kinda bugged me.
- The fucking cheesyness of it all. I was hiding inside my tshirt cringing for a good while. DANCING! Who the fuck wants dancing in a Spiderman film? Especially not while people are making fecking omlettes.
- Emo Spidey just amused me, in a I'm dying slowly inside sort of way. His eyeliner application needs work though, however.

...i enjoyed the irreverence and silly nature of it all. It was, y'know, like a comic book.

Previous 2 are better IMO. I went to see it with Scott and Jeff. Jeff slept for about an hour of it, Scott was nodding off....I think I stayed awake because Id drank about a litre of coke and ate a whole tub of popcorn...otherwise probably would have nodded off too....It was just a bit too much liek a musical for my liking.

The second one is by far superior. BY FAR. This one absolutely pales in comparison. I've not seen the first one since, like, it came out but from what I remember it didn't make me die slowly inside, unlike the 3rd one.

is all personal opinion but i agree the film was too heavily reliant on special effects rather than making a solid storyline. if it wasnt for the "oooh shiny" i would have left long before it finished. waste of a tenner.
