Chris Nolan was saying in an interview that the story will have alot of focus on Harvey Dent, the relationship he forges with Batman and how he ultimately becomes Two Face.

I hope they use some of the ideas from 'The Long Halloween' to do this. It really shows how Harvey changes.

YouTube took the trailer down. Strange, you'd think the film publishers would want to promote the film in as many ways as possible.

I think it's officially being made public tomorrow, at least that's what I read at mtv.com.

Still, it's a bit lame. That link I just posted up is the first six minutes of the film, which was shown to selected IMAX audiences a week or so ago. Looks awesome!

Heath Ledger looks he's gonna own the role, as much as I love Nicholson's fantastical interpretation of it.

On that note actually, I don't know about anyone else but I found watching the Tim Burton originals really hard after watching Batman Begins. Christopher Nolan's version of it just fits the hero so much better, given that Batman as a hero is more realistically grounded than most. In fact, Burton had to rely on spicing up the villains in ridiculous ways to fit his visual and writing style, which meant Batman/Bruce Wayne just looked really dull by comparison; almost like a bored millionaire that won't leave things alone.

I haven't even attempted to watch Batmin Forever or Batman & Robin. They were just utter fucking travesties in the first place, let alone the fact that you now have Batman Begins to compare them against.
