Yes, Gary Oldmans performance was awesome too.

It's very much a film set up with 3 acts.

I'm going to see it again tonight, I've a feeling that there will be little bits I missed first time around. It's got a nice wee atmosphere to it too.

While I said to Fritz on Friday that I was a wee bit dissapointed by the ending, the more I have thought about it the more I seem to be finding that I actually thought the overall film was awesome and that the ending wasn't as clean cut as I had first thought.

Silly me, a second viewing is definetly in order!

p.s. Ledger and Eckhart were amazing!

Went to see this at the iMax cinema today. I'd never been to see anything there before, and was pretty surprised when I got in and noticed the sheer size of the screen.
The opening sequences were all in iMax (which basically meant that the whole wall was taken up instead of it being the usual letterbox style), which was totally incredible with the sort of 'wraparound' screen and the gigantic sound system pounding away.
The film itself was amazing I thought. I'm still to see Batman Begins (don't ask me why) but this more than lived up to the hype.
The biggest action sequences were all shot in iMax and were fucking breathtaking, especially the lorry one. If anyone gets a chance and hasn't done so yet, you should definately pop through/go down to the science centre next to the secc and see it there.

I'm through in Glasgow for a couple of days and I'm strongly considering going to the iMax to take it in. Saw it already on the rather paltry DCA screen and thought it was amazing so I'm sure watching it at the iMax will blow me away.

There's quite a good article here about the possibility of a third installment and what the direction the story could take. Don't read if you haven't seen TDK though as it contains spoilers!

Someone has been reading Empire.

I personally think Brad Dourif would be good.

I'd love to see David Hyde Pierce do anything remotely sinister. Maybe have him reprise Roddy McDowalls Bookworm role from the 60s show.

I still haven't been able to see this. Everytime we go it's either full or it's only the last showing free. Finally got tickets to see it tomorrow though, can't wait! Keep hearing great things about it.

Just back from seeing this. Was brilliant in my opinion and very clever I thought too. So many movie cliches mocked, the black humour and the acting was pretty good. I'd go and see this again, in fact, I think I will.
