The Number 23
anyone seen it ??
i watched it tonight, and i was a tad sceptical about it,... but i have to say i thought it was superbly done and the last 30 mins had me watching intensley.. quite a mindfuck. 4/5 ken.

good idea but not a very good film.
it wasn't so much a 'twist', more of a step by step 'this is what happpened'. the boy seemed a bit too old to be playing the son. although it is possible, it just didn't look right. |

Yeah, I agree with most of the above.
It was good... but basically... shit. Jim was superb, but his role wasn't exactly very different from the dude in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. The story was sound, yet suffered from spelling it out to everyone. OMG 32 is 23 BACKWARDS!!! The visuals and the soundtrack were pretty decent, and probably the only thing that kept me watching. |

well half the things they mentioned dont come to 23, and filling it up by switching the outcomes to 32 is a bit weak.
i really enjoyed the film up until it became a murder mystery. i really hoped it would of went a bit more sci-fi-y. i struggled at first to take jim carrey serious with that floppy hair but you get into it after a while. i give it 6 out of 10 skulls. |
