Hellboy II
This is almost making as excited as The Dark Knight. The first one was amazing and pretty under-rated and Del Toro went on to make Pan's Labyrinth etc. but this is coming out soon and by all accounts (online reviews) is shaping up to be the other comic book masterpiece this year.
![]() YouTube - Hellboy 2: The Golden Army - Trailer #1 TRUE-HD YouTube - Hellboy 2: The Golden Army - Trailer #2 TRUE-HD Trailers look immense! Del Toro is definitely one of the best film-makers around, I have high hopes for The Hobbit too. |

Not a huge comicbook style movie fan but the first hellboy was great! Never heard of the comic (graphic novel w/e) till then but was great that the main hero couldnt really be arsed... nice!!

Did you know one of the Bros twins is in this? Also Bros are making a comeback.

This looks about 1 million times better than the first one, which was only decent imo.
I think I'll go to see it. I guess they'll get it out early before The Dark Knight shits all over it at the box office. |

Aye, definitely. It felt as if it finished too early because your still waiting for the rest of the story! The creatures, as you say, were amazing! I heard a lot of hype about the angel of death, and she was pretty spectacular, but i felt she had far too small a part.

Worth seeing it in the cinema for the sheer scale and character design though. Looked fantastic on the big screen.
*spoiler alert* Hellboy & friends in Co. Antrim - LOL! |
