i went for A Nightmare Before Christmas because it's really good and it has the brilliant song that the pumpkin king sings the first time he see's snow:

yeah, it's a fantastic soundtrack, I like the second song ("Oh somewhere deep inside of these bones") best.

I didnt like Planet of the Apes, Its nothing compared to the original, but I guess ppl expected so much that it made it seem bad.
