the cinematography in it is amazing too, and the story behind it and the message, its one of the most under rated films i;ve seen. Ed Norton at his best. Cant wait to see him in the remake of the Italian Job.
BTW the kid from Terminator is in A H X.

i dunno about underrated kj, i've never spoken to anyone who didn't enjoy it, and the cover's plastered with critical arselicking...
i must admit i was a wee bit apprehensive about eddie furlong at first, but he put in a fucking flawless performance. norton still steals the show, though. |

If you like the 'idea' of the film and how it portrays skinheads as not cunts, but people who can change (wether they deserve to or not) then you'll love the british film I.D. which is about a cop who goes undercover to investigate violence in the 'Millwall Dogs' (infamous british Footie Hooligan gang) but who gets too wrapped up in the violence and turns his back on police, society and all things good to follow his new cause. You'll also love Romper Stomper, an australian film about skinheads and their hate for all things non-australian, mostly asian folk who settled australia for work.
Both great films in the American History X seed. |
