It doesn't have to be 5-7-5. That's a cliche brought about by the rape of eastern culture by ignorant westerners. And besides, if you're writing in english, the generally accepted form is 3-4-3. English is too compact for the 5-7-5 structure. Like I said though, it doesn't have to be structured

which translated means:

looking back at the beach
even my footprints are gone
