Thumbs up A Bronx Tale

Abolsutely brilliant. Directed and starring Robert DeNiro, Chazz Palminteri and Lillo Brancato. Even Joe Pesci makes a small appearance.

Its a great story and a film you just gotta see. Its not like your everyday mob boss type film, its got a deeper story line. Lillo Brancato plays the main character 'C' who the story is revolves around. De Niro plays his father and Chazz Palminteri plays his mob father. Its a good story and a comparisson between two types of family, blood and gang.

There are a few touching scenes and some realistic fight scenes, the one with the bikers is crazy.

Anyone else seen this film?

yeah, the test to see if a woman is one of the 3 greats you'll ever have in your life.

There are a few good lines in that film that people can use...

'The saddest thing in life is wasted talent' - Lorenzo

Priest: Don't be afraid, my son. No one is more powerful than God.
Calogero: I don't know about that, father. Your guy may be bigger than my guy up there, but my guy is bigger than your guy down here.
Priest: Ya got a point.

'Listen to me, kid. If she doesn't reach over and lift up that button so that you can get in, that means she's a selfish broad and all you're seeing is the tip of the iceberg. You dump her and you dump her fast.' - Sonny

a good film is one that makes you involved in it, and A Bronx Tale is one such film. The racial tension between the hoods is touching as is the romance story line. The relationship between C and his father and also the relationship with C and Sonny. You get involved and sometimes you can feel the pain of the character.

Lillo Brancato played C.

He's also been in the following movies...
Crimson Tide
Enemy of the State
Renaissance Man
In the Shaddows
Provocateur
Sticks
Blue Moon

looking rather older now than he did in 1993...

in a new film with Ice T

This movie is very good. The part where they are beating up the coloured guys and the white guy does not want to is my favourite part. I also smiled when I saw the car lock scene...god bless The Ataris.
