Dundee 1 - Partick Thistle 0

Possibly the most frustrating game I've ever been to at Dens. With Thistle down to 10 men midway through the first half Dundee were the team on top and should have been at least a goal up going into the break. Dundee has 2 goals chopped off for dubious offside decisions from the referees assistants and a long range effort smashing off the cross bar I got the feeling that this wasn't going to be a good day for Dundee, especially after loosing three points against Queen of the South. But we finally got the goal that mattered in the final minute of the match from Kevin McDonald, and Dundee definitely deserved it.

It was a huge sigh of relief especially as we knew Hamilton and St Johnston were both winning and Dundee couldn't afford to let Hamilton get away from them again.

St Johnston v Dundee next week, should be a good match.

The best thing that happened yesterday was that McDonald signed a contract until 2009. Brilliant news, and definately the best desicion i reckon.

is Mcdonald any good?

I seen him a couple of times but it is hard to judge on two games so tell me lads...is all he is cracked up to be?

Aye he is. Aparently every week there are Premiership scouts watching him. I know that Celtic were after his signature too. He is a good player and he's saved Dundee from embarrassment a few times already this season. It'll be good to have him in the squad, if all goes to plan, in the Premier Division next season. *fingers crossed*.

There are a couple of other players that really stand out in the squad too but he is the most promising.
