After a terrible weekend thanks to the 3 biggest clubs in the EPL costing me about 40 quid and a potential mint ill concentrate on the dodgy thing that is European football!

Predictions for the upcoming matches?

Werder Bremen V Rangers
Inter V Liverpool
PSV V Spurs
Everton V Fiorentina

Heres my predictions!

Werder Bremen 1-2 Rangers
Inter 1-1 Liverpool
PSV 2-1 Spurs
Everton 3-1 Fiorentina
Sporting 1-1 Bolton
Zenit 1-2 Marseille
Anderlecht 1-3 Bayern
Leverkusen 1-1 Hamburg

I often put on a few small accumulators at the weekend. Over the past couple of years I've probably been breaking even at worst. I've been doing shite as of the past month or two, but I've had 2 or 3 good wins to bring my average up. I won about £170 off a one or two pound accumulator including about 14 Euro 2008 qualifying games last year. And I've won around £70 another time from a small bet.

I usually bet on the UFC events as well and have done not bad from that too. Like with the football, I don't bet any big amounts of money but do accumulators so I still stand a chance of getting a good amount back if it comes off. I was one fight off winning £40 on this last event and just ended up losing a tenner instead

I would have lost money betting on Chieck Kongo. lol.

I still reckon he should have won. Heath was rubbish.

Haha, yup that's the fight that messed everything up for me.

I had:

Silva over Henderson
Okami over Tanner
Fitch over Wilson
Koscheck over Hazlett
Kongo over Herring

I couldn't believe it when Kongo started taking him down with ease. And it was all looking good until Herring started sweeping him and Kongo looked a bit lost. Was funny seeing Herring trying to restrain himself from kneeing Kongo in the head though!

Am I just being silly or was Dan Henderson using some unsportsmanlike tactics against Anderson Silva in the first round on the ground? He kept putting his hand over Silva's mouth and nose, I guess in an effort to gas him out prematurely or whatever.
