basically, every supporters association and all the journo`s in scotland should get together over the summer and lobby the sfa. its BEYOND time for change, they need to bring this "modern" organisation out of the stone age and FINALLY bring in video refs. all of this would be wiped clean if at those key points (not only in saturdays game, all season long), the ref could`ve turned and said, i never actually got a good look at that gimme 2 secs - "video ref?" , Aye it was a pen. nae bather.

it would cost FUCK ALL to implement it. why they wont do it i cannot fathom, its fucking ludicrious.

Seriously, the referee's in this country are a joke, we need pro refs now.

There's bias on both sides.
I agree that incompetency is sometimes mistaken for bias and vice versa.

Mike McCurry has really been pretty blatant this season. I don't think he can be THAT bad a referee as he's considered one of our best and either way, it's probably time to bring foreigners in.

Oh i had forgot about that! That was an even worse decision, we would have won that game for sure if he hadnt of been punted! I remember him getting the ball as cleanly as humanly possible then getting a red for it!

Like i already said, theres dodgy decisions in plenty of games, but it was just the fact there was so many clear cut mistakes that have highlighted this particular match.

I would say video ref's maybe a step too far, if there is a lot of niggly decisions in a game, it could extend it by about 15-20minutes.

Sitting in the stand with 2 minute breaks every 9 minutes or so would become pretty frustrating.

Having professional referee's who train, live and breathe being a referee would help. There is still gunna be human mistakes but, then what next, robot goalkeepers?

Goal line technology - YES
Pro Ref's - YES

im unsure how getting foreign referee's will help, the referee who took charge of the Man Utd Wigan game had a shocker. Some of the Spanish ref's in La Liga have been pretty harsh with the red cards this season.

Why not make Scotland lead the way with a pro referee system?
