Alan Gow loaned to Dundee Utd?

Apparently Rangers want to farm Gow out to Dundee United, talks of Charlie Adam possibly too.

Think it'd be good for Gow, Adam probably wouldnt get any better than he is.

Hope not, I'd like him at the Dons. Though I suppose Rangers are more likely to want to send him to Tannadice than us.

And Charlie Adam?

Thats a strange one. Can understand Gow but Adam is a weird one.

Scored twice in the Champions League for us remember! He is no a bad player but needs confidence. If he can get that at United then good for him. I understand he is a Dundee lad and all so I hope he benefits from it if it happens.

I think he is a good squad player for Rangers in all honesty. I hope this means we are bringing in more quality mind. As in, someone better than Adam for where he would be situated in the squad. He didnt do a lot wrong really. Should perhaps look for an easier pass now and again though.

I'd prefer to see him at Dundee rather than Dundee United tbh, simply because I don't want United to be a stronger bogey team for us!

Alan gow Getting loaned to utd is a good move, charlie adam i just dont rate, walter smith will hopefully bring in a better standard of player for next season, than charlie adam if i was picking a rangers squad he would,nt make the cut, i would just let him find another club,

Thing is with Adam is that he had an excellent year for us when Paul Le Guen brought him into the team.

Scored about 14 goals I think. Something tells me it might be 11 goals but wikipedia is yur friend if you really care.

He cuts hot and cold but he is good to have around plus he is a scottish lad and I would like to the Gers squad to be mainly Scots. It is what I love about the current team actually. Found it hard to warm to when we didnt have many scots in the team.

(Bar the 2 years under Advocaat when we were awesome with mainly foreigners)

your points are valid, but he,s not good enough for a team of rangers stature, i know rangers dont have the money like they used to, but of the money from there uefa cup run, they should be able to bring in 2 or 3 decent quality players, a decent centreback to partner cuellar weir has done a great job but i reckon this will be his last season another midfield player and a decent striker,
